Commissions have seen BW Architects provide architectural services on a variety of landmark projects within South-East Queensland, including the Surfers Paradise Foreshore Redevelopment, Institute of Architects award winning Victoria Bridge Abutment Structure heritage refurbishment, and the Howard Smith Wharves Parkland Redevelopment in Brisbane.

Architect, Prinicipal and Company Director
Brent Winburn, Principal and Director, has gained a depth of experience from working as a senior architect within some of Brisbane’s leading design practices.
The extent of Brent’s practical experience ranges over a period of 30 years. As a Senior Architect he has been responsible for the management, design, detail documentation and site supervision of numerous project types. These projects range from Multi-storey High Rise Residential/Commercial buildings, Senior Living Developments, Health Care Facilities, Urban Architecture, Defence Facilities and complex Institutional Facilities, through to smaller scale Multi-Unit Developments and individual private Residential Houses.
Brent brings to the project team knowledge and experience in all facets of project delivery. He has been a key team member on many complex projects with involvement through all project phases. These include aspects such as the initial project inception, intense multi user group and executive team briefings, development of clients’ functional requirements into conceptual options, design, construction documentation, contract administration and post occupancy evaluations.
